MV Great Escape

Launched in 2006, MV Great Escape is a 26 metre, custom built, fully air-conditioned, luxury catamaran, perfect for cruising the Kimberley Coast in comfort and style. With seven executive staterooms, the MV Great Escape caters for just 14 passengers and an experienced crew of 5.

All staterooms are individually air-conditioned and fitted with en-suites, queen size walk-around beds, flat screen TVs, DVD players and personal fridge.

Panoramic View staterooms offer double or twin configuration and large picture windows. The Horizon View staterooms in a double configuration with two large portholes providing a light and airy environment.

The Great Escape’s large open lounge is an excellent location to catch up on some reading while enjoying a freshly brewed cappuccino and appreciating the spectacular passing scenery. You may opt to watch real time TV or a movie on the large flat screen. Indoor and alfresco dining rooms offer a casual or formal dining experience. The invigorating freshwater spa on the foredeck provides a refreshing break during the warm Kimberley days and lets you lay back in style as you cruise this wondrous land. Finally the new onboard helicopter allows for transfers and optional scenic flights.

MV Great Escape is in contact with the outside world via new, state of the art satellite phone, fax and email. She is also equipped with two onboard desalinators so there is always plenty of water for bathing and drinking.

MV Great Escape carries three smaller expedition vessels, which allow passengers to choose from the wide variety of activities available such as fishing, SCUBA diving, exploring, mud crabbing and skurfing.
