After three years guiding our guests through the Kimberley Coast wilderness with The Great Escape, our fantastic deckhand Adrian Rigby, better known to most as “Adsy”, stepped off the boat last year to embark on a new journey into parenthood, and in January this year Adsy and Sally welcomed beautiful baby Jack Rigby to Broome and the Kimberley.

Adsy (now also known as “Dadsy”) recently took baby Jack down to the boat when it was in Broome, to catch up with the crew and introduce them to his newest recruit. Although no longer working onboard, Adsy is still doing some great work for us with his boat fitting craftmanship, and now that Adsy and Sally are based in Broome for a while, we may also be able to rope him into being a relief deckhand from time to time down the track!

We wish Adsy and Sally all the very best for their new family in Broome, and we are delighted to welcome Jack to The Great Escape family too.

MV Great Escape is on her way back to Broome!

As the Wet-Season winds to an end and MV Great Escape makes her way back home after her 4 month sojourn down south during the Wet-Season, we are excitedly preparing for our new Kimberley Coast cruise season with our first cruise departing next Thursday 29th March.
