This year our fantastic helicopter flights are provided by Fleet Helicopters.
Based in Armidale, NSW, the company has been operating rotary winged services since the 1990’s and have a ‘fleet’ of different helicopters to provide specialist machines to meet the varying demand of the tourist, farming and government industries.
MV Great Escape now cruises with one of Fleet Helicopter’s Bell Jet Ranger that seats 4 passengers plus pilot. Andrew and James will be your pilots and they will guide you over some of the most rugged yet spectacular landscapes of the Kimberley region. Andrew has 6 years flying experience in the Kimberley, thus knows many ’secret spots’ which is very handy especially when it is time to go heli-fishing!
There are a range of scenic flights to choose from or maybe cheat and opt for a shuttle flight on your excursion – fly to or from a fern-fringed swim hole, fly along King George escarpment or enjoy the Horizontal Waterfalls from the air……the choice is yours.
