Back in the warmth of the Broome sunshine, Dorothy and I had heaps of fun at The Sydney Good Food & Wine show at Darling Harbour. Many wineries and food purveyors were represented which made it a feast of the senses.
The pearl meat tasting was a huge success and received rave reviews with many keen to try it even though many were not familiar with the concept. The cerviche-style marinade was just delicious, and matched the seafood perfectly.

The show was very busy over the weekend, but I did find time to buy Gordon Ramsay’s latest release and get it signed by the man himself without controversy – I wonder how much of the hype is just that…

As the weekend drew to a close, it was time to draw the winner of our fantastic Good Food & Wine Show Kimberley Cruise prize giveaway. We were delighted to have well-known Chef, Manu pop over to the stand to do the prize draw.

Congratulations to Lynne Daly from NSW. Needless to say she was ecstatic when I called her from the show to give her the good news – better still, the holiday falls in with her wedding anniversary….we look forward to welcoming the lucky couple on board in September.
